Recently FCI Conducted an exam on east zone on September 6th 2015. Huge number of candidates were attended for the exam. Earlier it had organized South, North-East and West Zone written exam for 4318 Asst. Grade, typist & JE(Civil & Mechanical) posts on 12th July 2015 in morning and evening sessions. The selection of eligible candidates is to be done through this written exam and interview. FCI Sep 6th Exam Cut off

FCI East Zone Cut off : Food Corporation of India conducts written exam to determine eligible candidates for the posts of JE, Asst. Grade etc. Huge number of candidates apply for these posts. Last time in 2012, a total of 61,758 candidates in Paper-II and 33,478 candidates in Paper-III actually appeared in this examination. This year beyond the expectations, Huge number of candidates were appeared for the Exam. On September 6th 2015 FCI Conducted an Exam for Eastern Zone. Different region candidates were attended to the exam.

Regions comes under east zone are as follows:

• Bihar Region
• Jharkhand Region
• Odisha Region
• West Bengal Region (includes the State of Sikkim).

Food Corporation of India has released the link for downloading the admit card of Written Test for Junior Engineer (JE) (Civil Engineering / Electrical Engineering), Assistant Grade-II (Hindi), Typist (Hindi), Assistant Grade-III (General / Accounts / Technical / Depot). The Tentative Date of Written Test is 06.09.2015 for East Zone. Food Corporation of India was started on 14th January 1965. Its first district office located at Thanjavur. The headquarters are at Chennai. It was established under the Food Corporations Act 1964.  It has 5 zonal and 24 regional offices. The FCI purchases roughly 15 to 20 per cent of India’s wheat output and 12 to 15 per cent of its rice output every year.
