Eligibility Criteria for Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board Recruitment 2023

Educational Qualification:

• Applicants should hold a Master’s Degree/ Equivalent from a recognized university.

Age Limit:

• The age limit should be 21- 32 years
• In-service candidates of ICAR- 45 years (Upper)
• In-service candidates of State Agricultural Universities- 35 years (Upper)

• General (Unreserved) Candidates – Rs. 500/-
• Economically Weaker Section (EWS)/ Other Backward Class (OBC) – Rs. 500/-

Selection Process: 

The ARS (Preliminary) Examination is a qualifying examination and its marks will not be carried forward for determining the final merit of the candidates. All those candidates desirous of appearing for the ARS Examination for recruitment to the post of ARS Scientists are required to take ARS Preliminary [online (CBT) examination], ARS (Mains) Examination, and viva-voce.

Salary details

• The selected candidates will get the Pay Band – 3 of  Rs. 15,600 – 39,100 with RGP of Rs. 6000/- (revised Pay Level 10 – Rs. 57,700 – 1,82,400).
