About Assam Petrochemicals Limited Recruitment

Assam Petro-Chemicals Limited is a semi-government Indian organization with significant stakes held by Government of Assam, Oil India Limited and Assam Industrial Development Corporation (AIDC). The organization was consolidated in 1971 and by 1976 had begun creation at their little methanol plant situated at Namrup alongside Formaldehyde and a couple of urea-formaldehyde gums like a urea-formaldehyde paste and urea-formaldehyde embellishment powder.

Post-development in 1989 and 1998, the organization extended the methanol plant to the limit of 100TPD (tons every day) and formaldehyde plant to 100TPD. The organization reported in September 2017 that it would contribute ₹1,337 crore (US$190 million) and grow to deliver 500TPD methanol and 200TPD formalin and become the biggest maker of methanol in India. The required feedstock for these plants is flammable gas, urea and carbon dioxide. Petroleum gas, provided by Oil India Ltd, is utilized as feedstock for methanol production. Urea and carbon dioxide are provided by Namrup Fertilizer Plant
