About Centre of Cultural Resources and Training:
The Center for Training and Cultural Resources is one of the main institutions working in the field of linking education to culture. Founded in 1979, pioneer of Smt. Kamaladevi Chattopadhyay and Dr. Kapila Vatsyayan operate as an autonomous organization under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. At the heart of CCRW’s philosophy is the commitment to holistic education, which encompasses children’s cognitive, emotional and spiritual development. To this end, the CLRB carries out educational activities based on knowledge and cultural understanding, which promotes clarity, creativity, independence of thought, tolerance and compassion.
The CLRB helped strengthen the nation’s foundations by making the culture of education meaningful and meaningful. The CCRW is headquartered in New Delhi and has three regional centers in Udaipur in the west, Hyderabad in the south and Guwahati in the northeast, to facilitate large-scale dissemination of Indian art and culture. The CLRB revitalizes the educational system by educating and sensitizing teachers, students, and administrators about the plurality of regional cultures in India and integrating this knowledge into education.
Know More Details about CCRT Recruitment 2108:
The main objective of the CLRB is to create various training programs for practicing teachers, teacher educators, educational administrators and students from all over the country. It also organizes special training programs for children with physical and mental disabilities. The training programs help to understand and appreciate the philosophy, aesthetics, and beauty inherent in the art and culture of India, and focus on the formulation of methodologies to incorporate a cultural component in curricular teaching. It highlights the role of culture in science and technology, housing, agriculture, and sports, especially in all aspects of development and growth.
The importance of in-service teacher training was also emphasized. Changing the educational system can only be achieved if teachers have been trained and prepared to understand and recognize the need to change teaching methodologies. Since teacher training is limited to nine months, it is impossible for teachers to master crafts. Therefore, skilled craftsmen, even if they do not have a formal full education, should be associated with teachers trained in teaching crafts for students. Educational visits to museums, monuments, and historical sites are organized to expose students to the rich cultural heritage of India.
The CCRW also implements other important policies of the Ministry of Culture, for example, awarding scholarships to young artists, juniors and seniors, focused on “in-depth study and research” of various aspects of the culture. The CLRB began organizing arts management training programs as part of the NICHM program, a new initiative of the Ministry of Culture, Govt. from India. The CLRB is also implementing the Young Leaders Cultural Heritage Program, which aims to promote social values and community participation among young people across the country.
