Telangana LAWCET Entrance Test Entrance Exam

TS LAWCET is the first Telangana Law Common Entrance Test. It is for LAW Admissions 2015. The candidates, who are qualified in this exam can get admission in any Universities in Telangana State and their affiliated colleges. LAWCET in telangana is conducted by Kakatiya University.

Kakatiya University

Kakatiya University is located at Warangal. This university is behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education, Hyderabad. Kakatiya University has successfully conducted ICET in the years of 2005, 2006, 2012, 2013 and 2014. The term “Kakatiya” means an emotional chord in the hearts of the Telugu people. Kakatiya University was started on 19th August 1976. It was established to fulfill the aspirations of the people of Telangana Region for higher education. The development of the University over the years has been gradual but impressive. The University was initially accredited with B+ grade by the NAAC in 2002 and reaccredited with ‘A’ grade in 2008. The University situated in a sprawling area of about 650 acres, has now 24 departments in four colleges on the campus with a network of ten constituent colleges and 471 affiliated colleges.

Required Documents For TS LAWCET Counselling 2015

Original Certificates to be produced at the time of LAWCET Counselling are as follows

• TSLAWCET- 2015 / TSPGLCET-2015 Rank Card.
• TSLAWCET – 2015 / TSPGLCET-2015 Hall Ticket.
• Memorandum of marks of SSC or equivalent.
• Memorandum of marks of Intermediate or equivalent.
• Memorandum of marks in Qualifying Examination.
• Provisional / Degree Certificate of Qualifying Examination (Degree).
• Study / Residence Certificate for the previous 7 years of study to prove as local candidate of particular area of Andhra Pradesh / Telangana or Non Local.
• Integrated Community Certificate (Caste Certificate).
• Transfer Certificate.
• Income Certificate (obtained on or after 1-1-2015).
• Sports / PH /NCC / CAP Certificate, if any.

Certificates to be produced by PH/CAP/NCC/SPORTS/MINORITY Candidates/ Anglo-Indian

PH Candidates:

• Certificate issued by District Medical Board.
• Candidates with 40% and above disability are only eligible.

CAP Candidates :

Certificate issued by Zilla Sainik Welfare Officer, Identity Card and Discharge Book in case of Ex service Men and Service Certificate in case of Servicemen issued by the Competent Authority shall be produced at the time of Certificate verification.

The children of Armed Forces, i.e., Ex. Servicemen, Defence Personnel including the Children of Border Security Force and Central Reserve Police Force who are domiciled in Telangana based on the Permanent Address/Home Town declared by them while joining the service and as recorded in their Service Register are alone eligible to be considered under “CAP” Category.

NCC & Sports Candidates :

To produce Original Certificates issued by competent authorities.

Minorities :

Copy of SSC TC containing Minority Status or Certificate from the Head Master or competent authorities.

Anglo-Indian :

A certificate issued by the competent authority of their place of Residence.
