WBJEE Counselling Procedure 2017
The Students qualified in the West Bengal JEE Exam must have to complete six steps of WBJEE Counselling 2017. Here, we provide the complete WBJEE 2017 Counselling Procedure. Therefore to get a clear idea about the seat allotment process, read the below steps carefully.
West Bengal JEE Online Registration
The first step of the Counselling process, all the eligible students must register through the WBJEE Online Counselling 2017. The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) accepts registration only before the 1st round of Counselling. Candidates have no choice to register after 1st round of Counselling.
Payment of Counselling Fees
After successful completion of WBJEE e-Counselling Registration, candidates have to pay Rs.500/-. Students must pay fees through the Challan of Allahabad Bank. Else, candidates also have a choice to pay the fee via Debit or Credit Cards. Download the e-Challan Payment Details and Save the copy for further use. Candidates who pay the fee are allowed to fill the choices through online mode.
Online Choice Filling Process
In this step, Candidates must select Branches and Colleges as per their preference. Students must opt the institutions carefully because the seats will allocate according to the highest preference. The choice filling process is done only once and no other filling is allowed during 2nd and 3rd Counselling. For the reference purpose, candidates are advised to take the printout of choice filling.
Choice Locking
The third step in the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination 2017 Counselling is Choice Locking. If the candidate is not satisfied with his/her options, they are permitted to change their web options before the last date. After the specified last date, candidates have no chance to change those options. Hence, modify your options within the specified time.
WBJEE Seat Allotment 2017
First Round of Seat Allotment
For the Seat Allotment, the board will check for the availability of the Seats in all the colleges. Then, the board will check the candidates who are top in the merit list. The top students will get the Seats according to the preferences they selected in the WBJEE Web Counselling 2017. The candidates will know their allotted colleges through the WBJEE Counselling 2017 Result. After checking the result, the students must download the Allotment order within the specified date. Because after the last date, the Allotment link will be removed from the website. If the student is not satisfied with the allotted college, he/she can go for a second and third round of Counselling process.
WBJEE 2nd Round Seat Allotment
The candidates who didn’t get a seat in any college can proceed to Second Counselling. In this Counselling, students have no need to pay the registration fee and have no option to a choice filling. The options made at first Counselling is taken for the 2nd Counselling also.
WBJEE 3rd Round Seat Allotment
Like the second round of Counselling, the 3rd Counselling also doesn’t allow candidates to select options. All other rules of 3rd Counselling are same as the 2nd Counselling.
Submitting the Documents for Verification at Reporting Center
After getting the admission in any college, the students must attend the Reporting center for document verification. Here, we provide the list of documents required for the verification. Hence, students must bring the following certificates to the Reporting Center. If any certificate is not present, they will permit you to submit in the concerned allotted institution or college.
