The Government will organise a new Global Food Fair. This food fair is for providing a platform to the farmers of India and manufacturers for showcasing their products and exploring the partnerships with foreign companies. This is said by the Food Processing Minister, Harsimrat Kaur Badal.
Karnataka Govt. Announces A 3-Day Global Conference On Social Justice.
The government of Karnataka announces to have a three-day global conference on social justice in Bengaluru. This meet is going to be held on July 21-23 at the University of Agricultural Sciences. This is going to be organised for the 126th birth anniversary of B.R Ambedkar. The participants will speak on the theme “Reclaiming Social Justice, Revisiting Ambedkar’.

In a bid for expanding its outreach to the world of Arabic, the Ministry of External Affairs is going to plan for making its website available in the Arabic language.

The Reserve Bank Of India amends its earlier order by asking the banks for initiating the bankruptcy proceedings against around 12 companies that have some outstanding loans pf amount around Rs.5,000 crore as on the month of March 2016.
Finance Ministry Launches The Next Tranche Of SGB Scheme.
The sovereign gold bond scheme was launched in the month of November 2015 having an objective of reducing the demand of physical gold. As per the reports, the government will launch the SGB scheme’s next tranche for the first time in 2017-2018, on 10th July. The banks will sell the bonds. This SGB scheme was launched for shifting a part of the domestic savings that can be used for purchasing the gold, into the financial savings.
