Matunga becomes Indias first railway station run by women.
India has started their first railway station run by women. A total of 30 women staffers including 11 booking clerks, five Railway Protection Force, Seven ticket Checkers is working under the supervision of station manager Mamta Kulkarni. Mamta Kulkarni became the Mumbai’s First women station master in the year 1992. Kulkarni was in Kurla.
Government Launches GST training Programme
The government, today launched a GST training programme to skill around two lakh youths in six months to handle tax compliance issues like invoice making. It usually implements in 14 states. Talking about ITI Rudy said that the ministry is working to improve the quality of these institutes. The people will be trained under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana.

Math genius Maryam Mirzakhani Dies at the age of 40
Maryam Mirzakhani an Iranian Born mathematician who was the first women to win the coveted Fields Medal has died in US hospital after a battle with Cancer. She died at the age of 40. Mirzakhani a professor at Stanford University in California died of cancer. she has been battling for four years spread to her bone marrow. In 2014 she won the Fields Medal the equivalent of the Noble Prize for Mathematics from International Congress of Mathematics.
UNICEF appointed Indian – origin Canadian Youtube Star Lilly Singh as its new Global Goodwill Ambassador.
Actress, Comedian and author Lilly Singh was appointed as UNICEF newest Goodwill Ambassador at the special event in New Delhi. Lilly who was known as her digital alias superwomen was in India to meet children and young people being supported by UNICEF. I am honoured to join UNICEF says Lilly at the media meeting.
San Miguel de Allende in Mexico has named the Worlds Best City in a survey by Travel and Leisure Magazine.
San Miguel de Allende has been the worlds best city with Oaxaca close behind in sixth place in annual rankings by readers of Travel and Leisure Magazine. The colonial city in the state of Guanajuato offers temperate weather year round. Travel and Leisure Magazine wrote there is no bad time to visit this city.

Garbine Muguruza clinches maiden Wimbledon title.
Garbine Muguruza shook her head and buried her face in her palms before winning her first maiden Wimbledon title. The 23-year-old has won her first title by beating the 37-year-old Venus Williams. Muguruza won her title by fighting for 77 minutes.
