Prime Minister Narendra Modi releases a commemorative coin and a stamp in the memory of Shrimad Rajchandra. He was the spiritual Guru of Mahatma Gandhi. PM Modi released a stamp of Rs 5, coins of Rs 10 and Rs 150, and a commemorative first-day cover to mark the 150th birth anniversary of Shrimad guru at the Sabarmati Ashram Centenary. PM also spreads the truthfulness, equality, and non-violence nature of Mahatma Gandhi and Shrimad Guru around the nation. He also discussed the simple lifestyle of Shrimad guru and his achievements.
Senior diplomat Shamma Jain appointed as the new ambassador to Greece by India
The External Affairs Ministry confirmed the appointment of Senior diplomat Shamma Jain as India’s ambassador to Greece. She is currently serving as Indian Envoy to Panama. She has also served in Indian missions in Italy, Washington DC, the Philippines, Argentina, and Turkey. Shamma Jain will take up the assignment shortly.

Arvind Kathpalia appointed as the new director of operations at Air India by the Civil Aviation Ministry
Ashok Gajapathi Raju, the Civil Aviation Ministry has appointed the new director of operations for Air India. Air India’s executive director Arvind Kathpalia is now the director of operations of Air India. He is appointed to serve for next five years. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) suspended his flying licence for three months as he skipped his compulsory pre-flight medical test. And also after failing the breath-analyser test, the Indian Commercial Pilots Association (ICPA) has asked him to resign with the post of Executive Director (Operations) at Air India. Now, he will serve as the director of operations at Air India.
Kay Bailey Hutchison is nominated as the US Ambassador to NATO by US President Donald Trump
A former member of the US Senate, Kay Bailey Hutchison is nominated as the new ambassador to North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO). Bailey served in the Senate for 20 years and started her Senate career in 1993. She is from Texas and 73 years old. She became the first women to represent Texas in the US Senate.

US President Donald Trump proposed Indiana’s health commissioner Jerome Adams name to serve as the next US surgeon general
Jerome Adams, Indiana health official is named as the US next surgeon general. According to President Donald Trump, he will shortly join the team to serve the nation. Adams is an anesthesiologist and was appointed as the health official of Indiana by Mike Pence. Jerome Adams is taking up the chair of previous surgeon general Vivek Murthy. Donald Trump fired him without any explanation and notice. Murthy was a supporter of Obamacare and argued for treating gun violence as a public health problem.

Popular Bengali Singer Sabita Chowdhary died
The wife of music legend Salil Chowdhary died. She was suffering from cancer and died at her residence. Sabita has consequently devoted her life to the Salil Chowdhury Foundation to preserve his songs. She has sung wonderful songs in Hindi and Bengali. Indranil Sen and Mayor Sovan Chatterjee, Minister of State Information and Cultural Affairs department and Tourism went to pay their last respects.
