Veteran BJP Leader L.K. Advani received the Lifetime Achievement Award for his contributions as a parliamentarian in Lok Sabha. Ram Nath Kovind becomes India 14th President
BJP led National Democratic Alliance nominee Ram Nath Kovind former Bihar Governor won the Presidential Polls today with 65.6 percent translating into 702,044 electoral college votes. He will be sworn in on July 25, the first from the BJP and the second Dalit to enter the Rashtrapati Bhavan. Kovind opposite Meira Kumar has secured 34.35 percent of votes.
Unique Identification Authority of India has launched the mAadhaar app for mobile
As per the latest news, UIDAI has launched mAadhaar app for mobile. Now you don’t need to carry Aadhar card every where for the verification and availing Aadhaar based services. A User can download Aadhaar number profile through their smartphones and will therefore not require hard copies of the card. It allows users to carry their Aadhaar demographic information on their smartphones. The app is currently available for download on Google Play Store and will be soon available on IOS.

The International Solar Alliance ISA has swollen to 35 countries this week following the admission of Australia. The ISA was launched by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and then French President Francois Hollande at the COP21 UN summit on climate change in Paris. More than 100 countries have expressed an interest in joining the alliance but the number so far have been lower.
