Finance Minister Arun Jaitley today released the National Trade Facilitation Action Plan and said the WTO- Trade Facilitation Agreement coming into force on February 22 2017, was a major milestone. Jaitley further said India looks forward to ensuring compliance with the TFA, according to a Finance Ministry Statement.

Telangana Government launched a special portal Janahitha to receive public grievances at Suryapet collectorate. Addressing the gathering Energy Minister G Jagadish Reddy informed that people across the district were waiting in long queues to submit their complaints. The State IT division designed a portal called www.janahitha.telangana.gov.in on the direction of the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.
Indias first Eco-bridges for the movement of tigers in Telangana.
In a first of its Kind, Telangana State will have eco-friendly over a canal cutting across the tiger corridor linking. The linking was the Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve in the Chandrapur District of Maharastra. The district has their forests in Telangana Kumram Bheen Asifabad district. The eco-bridge will be constructing at the key spots along the 72 km long and at some places over a kilometre wide.

Pentagon chief Jim Mattis said on Friday that he believes ISIS Chief Abu Bakr-al-Baghdadi is still alive, following various claims he was dead. Indian Navy Second LCU Mark 4 L52 ship built by Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers Limited Kolkata was formally launched in Kolkata, West Bengal. LCU L52 ship is 62.8 meters long and 11 meters wide. It has 90% indigenous content. The ship has the endurance of around 1,500 nautical miles at 12 Knots. Karamjyoti Dalal Wins Bronze at World Para Athletics Championships
India Extended their medal tally to three during the World Para Athletics Championships 2017. Discus-thrower Karamjyothi Dalal has won the Bronze medal. In the Women’s F55 category, Dala at the last moment, managed a throw of 19.02m, just overtaking Baharains Alomari Roba who managed 19.01m. Earlier Sundar Singh Gurjar opened India account at the world Para Athletics Championships by clinching gold in the men’s Javelin throw event.
