Rajdhani and Shatabdi to get luxury services
The Indian Railway decides to make a complete makeover to the Shatabdi and Rajdhani trains. This will strat from October 2017 under a three-month programme named Project Swarn (Gold). The makeover of trains is happening to enhance the travel experience for passengers. The Indian Railway has received several complaints in past days. Therefore, to eliminate those complaints, the Board is upgrading the facilities. To strengthen the security system of the trains, Escort personnel by the RPF is inducing. In addition to this, on board entertainment service is also introducing in the form of serials, films, and music. 15 Rajdhani and 15 Shatabdi trains have chosen for the makeover exercise.
PM Modi urges people to use Government E-GEM to cure corruption
On Sunday, PM Narendra Modi urged states to use Government -E-Marketplace (E-GEM) portal to order to sell their services or products to the government. PM addressed the nation through 33rd Mann Ki Baat show airs on All India Radio. He explained the E-GEM portal to people by saying it is an excellent example of maximum governance and minimum government. According to PM, the main objective of the starting the E-GEM is to minimise the prices and maximise the efficiency, ease, and transparency.

Yashaswini Singh Deswal to win gold at the women’s 10m air pistol event at the ISSF Junior World Championship Rifle/Pistol
The 20-year old Chandigarh girl, Yashaswini Singh Deswal won the title for Women’s 10m Air Pistol at the Junior World Champion in Suhl, Germany. The Junior World Championship Rifle/Pistol is organised by the International Shooting Sports Federation (ISSF). This winning led the India to target the second position in the medal tally with two Gold Medals, one Bronze Medal, and one Silver Medal.
Ankush Dahiya, a former Indian boxer clinched a gold at the Ulaanbaatar Cup Boxing Tournament in Mongolia
The 19-year old Indian boxer, Ankush Dahiya claims a gold medal on the final day of the Ulaanbaatar Cup Boxing Tournament. This tournament has given three bronze, a silver, and a gold medal to India. Also, the experienced L Devendro Singh claims a silver medal. Ankush Dahiya clinched the gold medal by defeating Korean Man Choe Chol.
