UP Govt signs agreement for strengthening of roads with Asian Development Bank
The Uttar Pradesh Govt. signed an agreement with ADB for Rs.1950 crore loan for strengthening the roads in various districts. ADB will provide the loan amount of Rs.2782 crore for UP Main District Roads Development Project. The loan provided is at 2% interest rate for the period of 25 years.
Indian Army gets Modern Bullet Proof Helmets
Finally, the army of India gets the first batch of new helmets. These helmets are Bullet Proof, manufactured by MKU Industries based in Kanpur. The total cost of these helmets is Rs.180 crore. These new Helmets have the capability of withstanding the impact of fire shots of 9mm from a shorter range. These helmets of Indian Army are matching the global standards of all equipment.

Russian Navy test-fires submarine-launched missile
Russian Navy successfully test-fired the submarine missile. Its name is Intercontinental Ballistic. The Yuri Dolgoruky is the 1st submarine in Borie-class carrying the Bulava. It commissions the Bulava after a long development cycle. It carries six nuclear warheads that range up to the distance 9,300 km.
