India and Russia Signed 5 Pacts
India and Russia have signed 5 agreements after the delegation talks between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Russian President Vladimir Putin.

- Agreement for the construction of the third stage of the Kudankulam NPP (KK5 & KK6).

Astana Summit: India and Pakistan has become Full members of SCO
India and Pakistan’s have become the China-backed Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO. The Astana Summit will be held between the dates 8-9 June. This summit will complete the admission procedures of both India and Pakistan. Finally, the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) has granted full membership status to Pakistan and India during its Ufa summit held in Russia in 2015.
The US to Withdraw from the Paris Climate Deal
President Donald Trump has come across the announcement that the United States is going to withdraw from the historic 2015 Paris Accord. This accord is hurting the country and economy very badly. Trump has also stated that he is open for a “new transaction” on terms that are fair to the US. The Paris Agreement on Climate Change came into existence from November 2016.

India has given the Fast Growing Economy Tag to China
- Ministry of Statistics has released the data recently. In that data, it is clear that India registered 7.1% growth in the financial year 2016-17, which is slower than the 8% registered in 2015-16.
- In the fourth quarter of 2016-17, India has registered a growth of GDP growth of 6.1%.
- Finally, it is clear that India has lost its fastest-growing major economy tag in the fourth quarter of 2016-17.
SEBI Approves Airtel and Telenor Merger
Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) has given the permission to the Bharti Airtel to merge with the Telenor (India) Communications Private Ltd.
