The United States of America has successfully conducted long planned the first-ever test of its defense system against an intercontinental ballistic missile. The US Missile Defense Agency (MDA) said that a ground-based interceptor was launched at a California air base.
Foundation stone for 8 connectivity projects worth 1117 Cr at JNPT
Nitin Gadkari, the Minister of Shipping and Road Transport and Highways have laid the foundation stone for the eight connectivity projects at the Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust in Mumbai. The cost of the project is Rs 1117.03 Crs. This project aims to boost the connectivity of the hinterland to the Port Trust.
