AIIB Approves USD 329 Mn Loan For Building Roads In Gujarat
The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) which is led by China said that the board recently approves a loan of 329 million dollars. This loan that AIIB approves is for building the roads to 4,000 villages in Gujarat. As per a report, the Board of Directors of AIIB approves this loan to build roads in all the 33 districts of Gujarat. This project will upgrade the district, educational institutions, schools as well as hospitals in the villages. Not only this, the rural population, tribal villages, business, and industries will also be integrated with this project.

HDFC Bank launches SME Bank
The HDFC Bank recently launches an SME Bank that will provide a complete and easy service of banking to Small and Medium Sector Enterprises. This new entity will allow the clients access services over personal computers or mobile phones on a 24×7 basis. The existing format of brick and mortar for the SMEs would coexist with the SMEBank.

Karnataka Launches “Elevate 100” Scheme For Start-Ups
The Government of Karnataka will spend around Rs.400 Crore to ‘elevate’ 100 startups. The BT Minister Priyank Kharge says that the Karnataka Govt. will provide the startups with funds and mentors for helping them turn their unique ideas into successful businesses. The startups will also be provided with the access for validating the ideas, the facilities of incubation, and in-depth sessions based on accounting, legal and emerging technologies.
