AP, Singapore In Pact For Developing Amaravati Startup Area
Andhra Pradesh state government has signed the MoU with Singapore for developing an area of 6.84 km at capital Amaravati. The Andhra Pradesh and Singapore bond will include economic development, master development of the startup area in Amaravati.
India, Chile Trade agreement to come into existence from May 18
The Preferential Trade Agreement, (PTA) between India and Chile will come into existence from 16th of May. Both India and China have decided to lower or eliminate duties on a number of items traded with each other. As per the Union Ministry of Commerce & Industry, the Preferential Trade Agreement (PTA) between India and Chile was first signed on 8th March 2006.

Anti-dumping duty imposed on some Glasses, Radiators
In order to protect the domestic industry from cheap imports, the Anti-dumping duty imposed on certain glasses from Iran and aluminum radiators from China. The fine imposed on products would be effective for a period of five years.

ICICI Bank, HDFC to cut home loan rates to 8.40%
ICICI Bank and HDFC Ltd has reduced the interest rate by up to 0.3 percent for loans of up to Rs 30 lakh for promoting affordable housing. New home loans rates will be 8.35 percent for up to 30 lakh for women and others 8.40 percent.
