The Hinduja brothers have got the top place in the 2017 list of the richest people in the UK. 40 Indian-origin super-rich persons have also got the place in this list.

Nitin Gadkari, the Union Minister of Road Transport and Highway has inaugurated the country’s first biorefinery plant in Pune. This plant produces ethanol from a variety of biomass.
Government Declares Entire Assam As ‘Disturbed’ Area
Recently, the Central government has declared the Assam state as the “disturbed” area under the Armed Forces (Special Powers) Act. The Assam state, besides the bordering areas of Meghalaya, has been declared as the “disturbed” under the AFSPA for a period of three months with effect from May 3.

The Odisha state Government will introduce boat ambulance service in four districts. The boat ambulance service will be available in the Koraput, Malkangiri, Kendrapara and Kalahandi districts. The state Govt has sanctioned six boat ambulances for this area.
