UP government honoured Wrestler Sakshi Malik With Rani Lakshmi Bai Award. She is 23 years old. He won bronze in 58 kg category, and she got Rs.3.11 lakhs cash prize.
World’s Longest – Glass Bridge – China
In China, the world’s Highest and Longest glass bridge has constructed with 99 panels of three layers transparent glass. It hangs between two steep cliffs 300 meters altitude maintained from ground. This bridge has set the 10th world record spanning its design and construction.
Actor & director – Gobind Tej – Passes away
The noted director and actor, Gobind Tej who passes away. He was 88 years old and while undergoing the treatment at a hospital in Bhubaneswar.Movies like Kaberi, Gare Sindura Dhare Luha, Schoolmaster, etc. he got the best director award for Odisha state Film Award.
Kerala Government – Rs 10,000 Cr – Govt schools
For next five years, the Kerala government has earmarked Rs.10,000 crores for the state -run & aided schools.In all government schools and aided schools around 60,000 new hi-tech classrooms has setup. The 1,000 schools will elevated to international standards.

India & Bangladesh jointly produce a documentary on 1971 war of Independence of Bangladesh. India will facilitate the production of the mega movie by Bangladesh to mark 100th birth anniversary of its Father of Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in 2020.
Govt – Rs 2,500 crores – penalty – Reliance Industries
On Reliance Industries & its partners, the Government has slapped a penalty of USD 380 million for producing less than the targeted natural gas from KG-D6 fields. The total penalty for missing a target in 5 fiscal years beginning April 1, 2010, now stands at USD 2.76 billion.
