Andhra Pradesh police – pilot project – DNA profiling
AP Police has launched the DIS (DNA Index System) which is the first of its kind initiative that allows generation of the DNA profiles from live samples like saliva and blood stains. This system uses latest DNA technology tool called RapidHIT developed by the IntegenX of USA. DIS allows generation of the DNA profiles using buccal swabs, blood stains, saliva & other live samples in less than two hours.
The China’s largest high-speed train maker has the launch of its 1st venture (JV) plant in the Republic of India with USD 63.4 million investment to manufacture and repair railway locomotives. The joint venture, CRRC (China Railway Rolling Stock Corporation) Pioneer Electric Co Ltd, is the housed in Bavo Industrial District of Haryana between New Delhi & Bombay. Chinese side holds 51% of the share.
