Step 1: How to fill Online Application

1. Click on the Apply Online Link.
2. Enter the required details.
3. Pay the application fee.

Step 2: Attach necessary documents

• Attach the necessary documents that are asked for in a prescribed format.

Step 3: Final Submission

• Complete all the details.
• Click on the Submit button.
• Take a print out of the completed application for future reference.

 List of Self Attested copies 

• All marks-sheets of Education qualifications.
• Proof in respect of Sports qualification/achievements.
• Proof for Date of birth.
• Latest Caste/Community Certificate in the prescribed form for SC, ST and OBC Candidates issued by competent authorities.
• 2 latest identical Pass Port Size Photographs( one to be pasted on the application and the other sent loose with name and address written on the reverse).
• Duly filled in Application Form itself with signed undertaking form.

Option for applying on GDS Posts

• A candidate can apply for a maximum of twenty posts all over India per cycle of online engagement.
• This inter alia means that a prospective candidate can apply for twenty posts on a single application spread across one Circle or several Circles.
• This cap of twenty posts is inclusive of vacancies arising in the candidate’s home Circle.
• Home Circle means belonging or native / domicile state of a prospective candidate in which he is permanently residing and that Postal Circle is providing opportunity.
• Hence, candidates should exercise due care while utilizing the twenty choices available to her/him in each Cycle.
• However, only one post will be offered for each Circle if she/he has applied for one or more posts in each Circle.
