AP EAMCET Eligibility Criteria
A Common Entrance Test designated as Engineering, Agriculture & Medical Common Entrance Test will be conducted by JNT University Kakinada for the academic year 2016-2017 to get admission into the First Year of Professional Courses i.e. B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Tech.(Ag. Engg.) / B.Tech.(Diary Technology) / B.Tech. (BioTechnology) / B.Tech.(FST) / B.Sc. (CA & BM) (MPC)/B.Pharm. (MPC) / Pharm-D (MPC). Every year JNTU Kakinada Conducts EAMCET Exam on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council Higher Education in Last week of May.
AP EAMCET 2016 Educational Qualifications
Candidates are required to have cleared or appeared for the final year of Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with Mathematics, Physics along with Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology as optional or related vocational courses in the fields of Engineering and Technology, along with the Bridge Courses conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh.
Candidates are required to have cleared or appeared for the final year of Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with Biology, Physics along with Chemistry/Biology as optional along with the Bridge Courses conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh are applicable for the Biotechnology courses.
- Applicants are also required to gain a minimum of 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the subjects specified taken together at 10+2.
AP EAMCET 2016 Age Limit
- Candidates are required to have completed 16 years of age, as on December 31 of the year of admission. There is no upper age limit.
In the case of B. Tech (Dairy Technology), B. Tech (Ag Engineering), B. Tech (FST), candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on December 31 of the year of admission.
An upper age limit of 22 years for all the candidates and 25 years for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates.
