About HP Postal Circle Recruitment 

Himachal Circle with its Headquarters at Shimla was cut out of the recent N.W. Circle in December 1986. The Circle incorporates the whole State of Himachal Pradesh covering a space of 55673 Sq. Km. It includes 9 Postal Divisions, one R.M.S. Division, one Postal Stores Depot and the workplace of Director of Accounts (Postal).HP Postal Circle claims the pride to have the most elevated mailing station on the planet at “HIKKIM” (Altitude 14567 feet) under Rampur Bushahr Postal Division.

Since the commencement of the Circle, till March 2000, the Postmaster General of the situation with Joint Secretary to the Government of India stayed the managerial top of the Circle. With the up-gradation of the post in March 2000, the Circle is presently headed by Chief Postmaster General of the position of Additional Secretary to the Government of India. At Circle Headquarters, the Chief Postmaster General is helped by one Director Postal Services, Director (Accounts), and four different officials.
