Job Responsibilities:

• Executing and coordinating validation and testing related to SCS products
• Implementing and documenting effective processes in order to enable robust validation and testing of products
• Developing SW tools to support verification of safety critical products
• Defining requirements and architecture for verification tools
• Developing source code to implement the tools
• Verifying proper function of the tools
• Deriving test plans using requirements management tools and analyzing requirements / specifications
• Designing and executing tests using manual and automated methods and testing tools for both software and hardware aspects of the products
• Establishing test cases traceability to requirements and specifications
• Developing test specifications, test reports, test metrics and validation protocols for integration and performance testing
• Documenting, tracking, and validating reported issues through to resolution

Preffered Skills:

• Post-secondary degree in a technical field, preferably in Computer Science, Electrical, Computer, Software, or Geomatics Engineering
• College fresher, with internship with reputed organizations.
• Comfortable writing code in Python and C/C++
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.  Able to communicate through teleconferencing and remote technologies.

Required Skills:

• Understanding of the Verification and Validation role within Engineering Development
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong ability to clearly communicate ideas and solutions to others
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
• Experience in the automotive industry
• Experience with safety critical standards or industry standard process models such as ISO 26262, IEC 61508, ASPICE
• An understanding of real time operating systems and embedded firmware development 
• Experience with HIL/SIL test environments
• Experience with test automation
• Familiarity with JIRA, Polarion
• Knowledge of GNSS and/or INS technology and algorithms
