Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the QA engineering to create and review test plans and test cases for software applications or systems.
• Execute test cases, record, and analyze results, and report defects or issues using bug tracking tools. Conduct manual testing to ensure software meets quality standards.
• Document test cases, test scenarios, and test results to provide a clear and comprehensive overview of testing activities. Maintain accurate and up-to-date testing documentation.
• Identify, track, and manage defects found during testing. Collaborate with the QA engineering and development teams to ensure timely resolution of issues and retest fixed defects to ensure successful resolution.
• Perform regression testing to verify that software changes and updates have not introduced new defects or impacted existing functionality.
• Continuously evaluate and enhance testing processes, methodologies, and tools to improve overall testing efficiency and effectiveness. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Basic understanding of database concepts and data structures. 
• Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools like Jira.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with collation between onshore and offshore.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
