Job Role:

• Build high-quality, clean, scalable and reusable code by enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture and processes (Code Reviews, Unit testing, etc.)
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Snowflake data platform, ensuring efficient and reliable deployment processes.
• Develop automated workflows for building, testing, and deploying Snowflake objects such as databases, schemas, tables, views, and stored procedures.
• Implement best practices for version control, branching strategies, and code promotion within Snowflake environments.
• Implement automated testing frameworks to validate data pipelines, ETL processes, and SQL queries for correctness, performance, and data quality.
• Establish monitoring and alerting mechanisms to detect and respond to issues affecting Snowflake clusters, data pipelines, and associated infrastructure.
• Develop dashboards and reports to track key performance metrics and usage patterns of Snowflake resources.
• Create comprehensive documentation for CI/CD processes, infrastructure configurations, and deployment procedures.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of new products and features while also enhancing the existing product suite

Required Qualification's:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a CI/CD Engineer or DevOps Engineer, with a focus on data platforms and analytics
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake data platform, including administration, SQL scripting, and performance tuning
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI).
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and agile methodologies.
• Experience with full-stack snowflake CICD design and development including, containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code principles and tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Strong understanding of Azure, Snowflake etc cloud platforms
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD best practices for software development to bring automation
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work across teams and stakeholders.
