Job Responsibilities:

• Operational support and incident resolution.
• Compliance: Monitor and correct compliance issues for device configurations
• Standardization: Develop and maintain standard configurations, procedures and guidelines for installing and operating data networks.
• Perform first line troubleshooting of network issues.
• System maintenance: Perform firmware / OS upgrades on routers, switches, firewalls, access points and other devices in accordance with company needs.
• Capacity planning review circuit and device capacities and recommend actions to the Global Network Manager.
• Interface with ISP and carriers to install/commission/test new circuits and/or troubleshoot existing circuits.
• Occasional on-call duties – Every 6 weeks for two days is typical.
• Skills & Experience Required: (Desired/Preferred skills are denoted)
• Team player
• Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources.
• BS or BA degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent education, training.

Required Skills&Experience:

• Willing to travel as per project requirement.
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware.
• Ability to think through problems and visualize the solutions.
• Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including wireless access
  points, firewall, routers, switches,
• Knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols.
• Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network
  communication systems.
• Provides specific, detailed information for hardware and software selection.
• CCNA trained/Certified
• Knowledge with the following technologies in design/implement/troubleshooting capacity is essential:
  o LAN: Switching - Cisco IOS/Nexus, VLANs, STP/RSTP, Ether-channel/Trunking,etc  
• Knowledge with Cisco routers and switches is required, experience with Dell and HP switches desired.
• Routing: BGP, EIGRP, HSRP or VRRP, PBR, etc.
• VPN Solutions: IOS/ASA based L2L and Client access VPN, Knowledge of DMVPN
• Authentication solutions including Cisco ACS/RADIUS/TACACS /Certificates(PKI) greatly desired
• Network troubleshooting using packet capture and analysis  using tools such as Wireshark
• Network security experience desired.
