The Madhya Pradesh Paschim Kshetra Vidyut Vitaran Company Limited (MPPKVVCL) incorporated by Madhya Pradesh government as a wholly-owned Government of Madhya Pradesh Corporations. This is mainly done to retail supply for and on behalf of Madhya Pradesh State Electricity Board in the areas covered by the Commissionaires of Indore and Ujjain and to undertake activities of distribution.

The Objective to achieve efficiency gains and making necessary changes to make the Company commercially viable, less government dependent and, progressively self-sustainable. Same time, balancing the interest of the consumers in regard to the quality of service and economical tariff. MPPKVVCL plan includes other things, collection, identifying the present deficiencies and the improvements to be made, measurement of energy supplied to feeders and energy audit, mapping supply feeders, reduction in input costs, consumer affairs handling, study of losses and scheme for progressive reduction, investments required for improvements in the distribution system etc.
