About NWKRTC Recruitment

NWKRTC was established on 1st November 1997, under provision of the Road Transport Corporation Act 1950. 1st November is considered very auspicious in Karnataka as it is Karnataka Rajyotsava Day. It aims at providing adequate, efficient, economical and properly coordinated transport services to the commuters in northwestern Karnataka. The jurisdiction of this corporation covers Belgavi, Dharwad, North Canara, Bagalkot, Gadag & Haveri districts. NWKRTC operates in all villages which have mobility facility. The jurisdiction is a nationalised sector. The corporate office of North Western Karnataka Road Transport Corporation is situated at Hubballi. Under this, there are eight-division headquaters at Belagavi, Hubballi, Sirsi, Bagalkot, Gadag, Chikkodi, Haveri and Dharwad. There are 48 depots under the administrative control of the respective divisions and one regional workshop at Hubli. There is one bus body building unit and one regional training institute at Hubli.
