IAF AFCAT 2 Result

AFCAT 2 Result 2024 has been announced at careerairforce.nic.in. The result of IAF AFCAT 2024 Exam held on 13 September 2024 has been released for Air Force Common Admission Test and Engineering Knowledge Test. AFCAT Result 2024 indicates the roll numbers of candidates who have been shortlisted to appear for further rounds of selection at Air Force Selection Boards AFSBs. Only those who clear the AFCAT cut-off mark determined by Indian Air Force will be called for intelligence test, psychological test, group tests and interviews. Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) is the admission test conducted to the applicants who applied for Flying, Technical Branch and Ground Duty branches in IAF. Indian Air Force (IAF) is one of the sophisticated air force in the world. Every year IAF conducts AFCAT admission test to recruit the young aspirants to fill the vacancies in various branches of IAF. Now It has released the AFCAT 2 2024 Exam notification for this year. Candidates who have missed their chance in AFCAT 1 & New aspirants who want to get a job in Indian Air force may apply for this Common Admission Test conducted by Air Force.

 AFCAT 2 Result 2024 and AFSB Rounds

After AFCAT 2 Result Released the selected candidates in the written exam can attend to the next process. Shortlisted candidates can download call up letter and keep their documents ready to attend AFSB selection rounds. A brief on the three stages of testing are given here to help you be prepared for tests and interview.

Stage I Intelligence Test

• To be held on Day 1
• Intelligence test will be a screening test for all candidates who were declared qualified as per AFCAT Result 2024. Those who accomplish successfully this round will have to get their documents checked.
• Those who pass stage 1 and document check will be eligible for next round. Those who don’t, will have to go back.

Stage II Psychological test, Group test, Interview

• To be held on Next five days
• The psychological test, group test and interview will be important for final selection. Candidate must perform well in these rounds in order to be selected for IAF recruitment.

For flying branch – CPSS, PABT

• Candidates who are eligible for flying branch will have to qualify Computerised Pilot Selection System (CPSS), Pilot Aptitude Battery Test (PABT).

Important points to be noted regarding AFCAT Result and AFSB selection are given below.

• Candidate must obtain marks more than the cut off marks to be shortlisted in AFCAT 2 Result 2024.
• It is important to appear for the Intelligence Test, Document Verification, Psychological Test, Group Test, Interview. Simply having qualified in AFCAT Results is not enough to be appointed for commission.
• Those who are finally selected can join the training which is scheduled to start in first week of July 2016. Flying and technical branch candidates will undergo training for 74 weeks, and Ground duty branch candidates will have training of 52 weeks in Air Force Training establishments.
