PGECET Exam

PGECET is the Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test. It conducts for admission in Post Graduation course. The PG Courses are Engineering, Technology, Pharmacy, Graduate level Pharm-D. Every year Osmania University conducts this exam. In this year (2015) Osmania on behalf of  TSSCHE will conduct PGECET exam. Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSSCHE) is one of the statutory Body of the Government of Telangana.

PGECET Counselling 2015 Procedure

• Candidates must attend for PGECET Counselling rank wise as we are given.
• Documents verification is done by officials.
• Candidates need to register at the time of counselling with required details.
• Seat allocation.
• take print out of Allotment order and take stamp from helpline center.
• Pay the fee in respective banks and submit it at help line center.
• Students to collect their allotment letter and fee receipt.
• Admissions in allotted colleges.

Documents required to attend PGECET Counselling

Certificates to be produced by All Candidates:

• GATE Score / GPAT /PGECET Rank Card.
• PGECET Hall Ticket.
• Degree Certificate & Memorandum of marks of qualifying Examination.
• Memo of SSC or its equivalent.
• Study certificates from 10th class to Graduation 5 Residence certificate for preceding 7 years of the qualifying examination.
•  Integrated community certificate issued by the competent authority in case of BC/SC/ST candidates.
•  Residence Certificate of father or mother for a period of 10 years in Telangana/A.P.
• Transfer Certificate.
• Income Certificate.

Certificates to be produced by NCC, CAP, Sports & PH candidates

PH Category:

Candidates have to produce a certificate issued by the District Medical Board and only candidates who have disability of 40% and above are eligible.

CAP Category:

Ex-Servicemen have to produce:

• Service Certificate issued by Zilla Sainik Welfare Officer.
• Identity Card.
• Discharge Book for verification.
• Serving persons have to produce Service Certificate from the place of Work indicating the relationship with the Candidate.
• Only Candidates whose parents are domicile of Telangana/A.P. are eligible to be considered under “CAP” Category.

NCC Category:

Candidates have to produce concerned certificates along with A, B, C certificates.

PGECET Counselling Center/ Help line center for Special category

Candidates claiming NCC/CAP/SPORTS/PH have to attend for certificate verification at any one of the following Helpline centers only as per the schedule. However, they shall exercise web options on the dates mentioned above against their rank.
