Common Law Admission Test

The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT), is an all India entrance examination, conducted on rotation by 17 National Law Universities (NLUs) for admissions to their Under-Graduate and Post-Graduate degree programmes. The 17 colleges include NLSIU, WBNUJS, NLUJ, HNLU, RMLNLU, and other Colleges. This is the exam conducted after 12th Standard for admission into integrated undergraduate programmes in Law and after Graduation for admission into Law for Master of Laws (LL.M) programmes. To get admissions in various Law Universities, candidates should attend the CLAT Exam. CLAT Released Common Law Admission Test 2025 Notification to provide Admission into the various law Colleges. Pattern of the Test Paper for UG Programme:

Subject areas with weightage:

• The Written exam is of Objective type questions (MCQs).
• The Exam consists of 200 Questions for 200 Marks.
• Each question will carry only one mark.
• Duration of the exam is 2 Hours.
• There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for a wrong answer.

Pattern of the Test Paper for PG Programme:

• The Written exam is of Objective type questions (MCQs).
• The Exam consists of 150 Questions for 150 Marks.
