Central Research Institute for Jute and Allied Fibres

Jute Agricultural Research Laboratory (JARL) under Central Jute Commission was established in 1938 at Dhaka. After the partition of the country, Jute Agricultural Research Laboratory was shifted to Chinsura in West Bengal and then at the present location of Nilganj, Barrackpore in the year of 1953 as Jute Agricultural Research Institute (JARI). JARI was taken over by Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) in 1966. In January 1990, the institute has been renamed as to its present name Central Research Institute for Jute and Allied Fibres (CRIJAF). ICAR CRIJAF Exam Pattern

CRIJAF Technician Exam Pattern:

The question paper for the written test will be of 100 Marks consisting of Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions as per the following scheme:-

• The question will be set both in English & Hindi for all the Sections.
• 01 Mark for each question.

CRIJAF Technical Assistant Exam Pattern:

The written test will be of 100 marks and of objective type and the duration of the test will be two hours as detailed below:-

• Questions will be objective Multiple Choice, set both in Hindi and English in respect of Section 1, 3 & 4.
• The questions in Section 1, 2 & 4 will be of level commensurate with the essential qualification viz. Graduation and questions in Paper 3 will of 10th standard level.

***There will be no interview for the post(s) of Technician/T-1 & Technical Assistant/T-3 & LDC.
