Central Teacher Eligibility Test

CTET is also known as Central Teacher Eligibility Test. CTET 2024 Exam is going to conduct on 21st February 2024 and 18th September 2024. For a person to be eligible as a teacher in the schools then, he/she should pass the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) which will be conducted by the appropriate Government in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE. Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will be conducting the 8th Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) on 04-12-2015 for certifying candidates for recruitment of Teachers for Classes I to VIII. A person who wants to be a teacher for both levels (classes I to V and classes VI to VIII) will have to appear in both the papers (Paper I and Paper II). CBSE CTET Exam Pattern 2024

• All questions in CTET will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), with four alternatives out of which one answer will be correct.
• Each question will be carrying one mark.
• There will be 150 questions for 150 marks.
• Duration of the exam is 2 1/2 hours.
• There will be no negative marking.
• Main question paper shall be Bilingual (Hindi/English).
• There will be two papers of CTET.
  (i) Paper I will be for a person who intents to be a teacher for classes I to V.
  (ii) Paper II will be for a person who intents to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.
