HP SET Exam Pattern 2024

Himachal Pradesh SET Exam Pattern 2024 is available here for the guidance of the candidates. Aspirants can see the HPPSC Asst Professor SET Exam Syllabus and prepare well for the SET exam.

The Test will consist of three papers. All the three papers will consist of only objective type questions. The exam will be held in the month of May 2024 as under:

For Paper-I: Paper-I shall be of general nature, intended to assess the teaching/ research aptitude of the candidate. It will primarily be designed to test reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness of the candidate.

• Sixty (60) multiple-choice questions will be given, out of which the candidate would be required to answer any fifty (50).
• Each question will carry two marks.
• In the event of the candidate attempting more than fifty questions, the first fifty questions attempted by the candidate would be evaluated.

Himachal Pradesh Public State Commission

The Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission was formed on 8th April 1971 under the Act of 315. The commission every year organizes various examinations to appoint employees for various posts in the organization. The Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (Authorized Agency) has announced a notification for the State Eligibility Test (SET) in the month of May 2024. The candidates who are qualified in the SET exam will be eligible for the post (s) of Assistant Professor (s) in universities and colleges located within the State of Himachal Pradesh. The test will be conducted in 19 subjects as listed below at various examination centers located at i.e. Shimla, Solan, Mandi, and Kangra.
