About National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research
National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) are the national level foundations in pharmaceutical sciences with an announced goal of turning into a focal point of magnificence for cutting edge studies and research in pharmaceutical sciences. The Government of India has announced NIPER as a ‘Foundation of National Importance’. It is a self-ruling body set up under the aegis of Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers.
In February 2015, Arun Jaitley, the Minister of Finance, declared three new NIPERs, in Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, and Maharashtra. In March 2015 Devendra Fadnavis, the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, reported that the Maharashtra area will be in Nagpur. In November 2015 Ananth Kumar, at that point the Miniset of Chemicals and Fertilizers, declared that the area of the Rajasthan foundation will be in Jhalawar. In July 2016 Kumar confirmed the designs for Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, and Maharashtra, and in the following money related year, he referenced designs for NIPERs in Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, and Karnataka. Contrary to a past declaration made in January 2016 a NIPER was not arranged in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. As of November 2018, the designs for NIPER Nagpur are still on paper as it were
